THE COMPLETE CALIPER PAINTING PROCESS
Auto Emporium Caloundra prides itself on providing a superior finish to every customer. We only use the best products that remain at a quality level of turn out with no peeling.
At Auto Emporium we remove then re fit the brake fittings then remove the brake pads. This ensures that they are not painted over. While the brake pads are off we prep and seal the calipers before beginning the paint process.
The high quality paint we use at Auto Emporium gives every vehicle a lasting finish. Using superior paints like DeBeer, we assure a precise finish to all paint work the shop delivers.
The entire vehicle gets wrapped in masking film. This is to prevent overspray and paint getting on other areas of the vehicle. All four calipers get cleaned of existing grime and rust to ensure an outstanding finish. The primer is then applied to the brake calipers followed by the colour selected by the customer. This is then applied and dried over a period of time.
If the customer has chosen to add a decal (logo sticker) this is then applied to the brake calipers. After applying the decals, brake calipers are all sprayed the clear coat. Once this process gets completed all masking and protective sheets get removed. The wheels are then installed with a stand out touch of your personalised stickers!
