There is no set answer to this question, As a respray comes down to the individuals wants and needs. A respray at our shop does have a base starting rate & will go up from there dependant of the repair services required to offer a quality finish.

Our workmanship offers high standard panel & paint services, we do offer small general smash repair work to full colour change jobs that look like a factory finish or you’ll find our results to surpass even the fussiest customers needs. We do not do insurance work as we are primarily a custom paint & body work shop.

WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO PAINT A CAR?
There is no “cheap” way to paint a car at auto emporium, we aim to provide the best work we can be proud of, the price ranges by the work done & the hours taken to perform the service.
often shops provide cheap resprays to help get the cars looking fresh again, however you will never receive quality workmanship at a cheap price.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RESPRAY MY CAR?
This would again depend on various factors ranging from repair services needed, smash repairs rust removal & spray painting needed to ensure a great new finish.
usually we will require your vehicle for a 2 to 3 week period that may range on the job or service your vehicle respray entails.
HOW IS A VEHICLE RESPRAY CARRIED OUT?
Vehicle resprays and repair services on your car are carried out by our friendly team at our sunshine coast workshop in Daniel street Caloundra west.
In short trying to explain the process of a vehicle respray is very intricate & involves technical terms and explanations which simply wont make sense to those not in the industry.
Basically a full respray will start with deciding if your vehicle is a closed door or FULL respray, these Vary hugely in price as they are two entirely different services.
The vehicle is full striped down, everything is bagged labelled & tagged and carefully stored in the vehicle.
we then prep all panels on the body do required repairs prior to straightening any panels so we can then prime the entire car.
once primed the car is carefully blocked with various grades of sand paper until a perfect smooth flawless finish is achieved before any spray painting can commence.
This all depends on a job to job basis as no two jobs are alike, each finish is catered to that particular job.
When spray painting its crucial to use not only top quality products to achieve a great finish but one that will be proud of & last for years to come.
DO YOU HAVE TO REMOVE OLD PAINT BEFORE REPAINTING A CAR?
This depends on the current condition of your paint, if the paintwork is still ok just scratched up or damaged we don’t have to fully remove it.
if you’re getting a full bare metal respray than we remove all the paintwork on the vehicles body prior to repairs and getting the bodywork back to its original condition. This allows us to find the rust from years of sunshine coasts harsh climate so we can repair the vehicle correctly.
CAN YOU PAINT OVER THE EXISTING PAINT JOB?
in most cases yes this is what we do to save the customer time & money, to achieve the best results in many cases all the paintwork has to be removed if its to badly damaged or has defects or rust its best to get a quote to know what best suits your car.

Here are the driving directions from Sunshine Coast, QLD, to Auto Emporium.
1. Start by getting onto the Bruce Highway (M1) from your current location on Sunshine Coast.
2. Follow the Bruce Highway (M1) southbound for approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) until you reach the Caloundra Road exit.
3. Take the Caloundra Road exit and merge onto Caloundra Road.
4. Continue on Caloundra Road for about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) until you reach the roundabout at Nicklin Way (State Route 6).
5. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nicklin Way (State Route 6), heading south.
6. Continue on Nicklin Way for approximately 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) until you reach the intersection with Daniel Street.
7. Turn left onto Daniel Street.
8. Follow Daniel Street for about 300 meters (0.2 miles) until you reach Shed 1/21 Daniel St, Caloundra West QLD 4551. The destination will be on your right.
