Auto Emporium is located at 21 Daniel St. Our custom-built Caloundra West studio provides the stable temperature, clinical lighting, and wind-free conditions required for GYEON coatings to cure correctly and qualify for their studio warranty.

Ceramic coatings offer incredible gloss and ease of maintenance, but they are not a magic, maintenance-free shield. The main things to be aware of:
- High Upfront Cost: Professional application requires intensive preparation and skilled labour.
- Not Scratch-Proof: It will not protect against deep scratches, vandalism, or rock chips — you need Vinyl Wrap or PPF for that.
- Still Requires Washing: Regular washing with pH-neutral soap is essential. If neglected, mineral deposits and water spots can form on the coating surface.
No. Ceramic coating is completely transparent and will actually magnify existing imperfections. This is why we always require paint correction prior to application — a specialised machine polish that removes swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation so the coating seals in a perfect, flawless finish.
We do not offer mobile ceramic coating. While mobile detailing is fine for maintenance washes, a high-end ceramic coating must be applied in a controlled, dust-free indoor environment. Coatings applied outdoors risk contamination, uneven curing, and voided warranties.
Surprisingly, yes. Even brand-new Sunshine Coast cars straight from the dealership typically have minor swirl marks from improper washing, transport damage, or lot-care handling.
A light paint correction is almost always required to decontaminate the surface and ensure the GYEON coating bonds properly to the clear coat — delivering the showroom-superior finish it's designed for.
Ceramic coatings dramatically reduce maintenance effort, but they aren't maintenance-free. To keep your coating performing at its best:
- Wash regularly with a pH-neutral car shampoo. Avoid harsh detergents or automatic car washes with abrasive brushes.
- Dry properly with a clean microfibre towel to prevent water spots from mineral-heavy Sunshine Coast tap water.
- Annual maintenance wash: We recommend a professional decontamination wash once a year to remove embedded contaminants and restore peak hydrophobic performance.
