Why Choose Hydro Dipping From Auto Emporium

Genuine carbon components are expensive — an OEM carbon engine bay on a Ferrari 488 runs $28,000. Hydrographics replicates the finish at a fraction of the cost, applied directly over your existing parts.

The process works on almost any solid substrate — plastic, fibreglass, metal, ceramic — and is sealed under automotive-grade clear coat for a permanent result. Over 100,000 films available.

Before any work is committed, we test on sample pieces so you can approve the finish first.

Hydro Dipped Interior Parts
  • Carbon fibre replication: Weave pattern, colour, and gloss/matte/satin finish matched to OEM spec — without the OEM price tag
  • Interior trim & exterior parts: Dashboard trim, door inserts, rims, mirror caps, engine bay components — if it can be dipped in water, it can be hydro dipped
  • Custom & bespoke films: Any pattern, logo, or design can be custom-printed and applied under clear coat for a fully personalised finish
  • Sample approval process: We test on sample pieces before committing your parts — no surprises, no regret

Our Hydrographics Process

Hydro dipping is a highly technical process. We follow strict protocols to ensure your finish is flawless and permanently bonded.

  1. 1

    Preparation & Base Coat

Parts are scuffed, cleaned, and primed before a specific base coat colour is applied to complement the chosen pattern.

  2. 2

    Hydrographic Dipping

The printed film is floated on a temperature-controlled water bath and activated, allowing the pattern to wrap seamlessly around the part.

  3. 3

    Washing & Clear Coat

The part is washed to remove residue, dried, and sealed with multiple layers of automotive-grade clear coat for permanent durability.
